The School of Education (SOE) dedicates itself to providing quality postgraduate education, giving priority to both teaching and research. In the past few years, it has been rising its reputation and influence, domestically and internationally, especially in the fields of phenomenology, humanistic approaches to education, smart education and educational research methodology. With its vision of taking root in Macao and serving the Greater Bay Area, SOE is committed to nurturing professionals specialized in teaching, research and educational management to meet the increasing needs of rapid development in Macao and its neighboring regions. With its outstanding faculty team with strong academic backgrounds and high reputation at home and abroad, and the objective of promoting well-round development of students, building a learning community that connects students and scholars in the field of education, encouraging students to shoulder social responsibilities, and contributing to society by fostering innovative research and knowledge exchange. SOE has established the Institute of Macau Education Development which has partnered with the Institute of Schooling Reform and Development at the East China Normal University, a Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Science in University under the Ministry of Education, to jointly contribute to elementary education in Macao and the Greater Bay Area. SOE provides three postgraduate programmes in education, teaching and learning Studies. To meet the needs of current teachers who aspire to improve their teaching performance and research skills for professional development, the programmes feature research on teaching and learning, theory-informed teaching practices, and integration of smart technologies for flipped classrooms. Students are guided to work on an educational action research project that is of great pragmatic value – the format of which has been widely and internationally accepted and is very unique to higher education in Macao. The programmes aim to boost the quality of postgraduate studies in education in Macao, and our graduates will show their competence in exercising their leadership skills in education and research projects in Macao and its neighboring regions.

澳門城市大學教育學院是一所專注研究生教育，教學與學術研究並重的學院。學院通過近年來在教育現象學、教育的人文視域、智慧教育和教育研究方法論領域於國際和國內樹立了良好的聲譽。學院立足本澳，服務灣區，致力於為澳門及周邊地區培養高層次教學、科研和教育管理人才，促進澳門和區域教育事業的高質快速發展。由海內外教育界知名專家學者組成的優秀導師隊伍，多元課程設置與豐富多彩的學術活動旨在構建學生與學者共同研習的共同體，促進學生全方位發展，鼓勵其承擔社會責任，並以原創性研究和知識轉移貢獻社會。學院設有澳門教育發展研究所，研究所已與教育部人文社科重點研究基地華東師範大學基礎教育改革與發展研究所共建夥伴基地，為服務澳門和大灣區基礎教育發展開啟新篇章。學院現設有三個碩士及博士課程，包括教育學及教學研究專業。因應在職教師的教學提升和教學研究等專業發展之需求而開設，原創型論文亦替代爲國際教育通行的基於教研項目之行動研究或教學實務型研究報告，為目前澳門高校中獨一無二之特色課程，努力構建起教育學研究生高層次教育體系，為澳門及周邊地區提供高層次教育科研領導人才。

Responsibilities 職責

Specific responsibilities include but not limited to具體職責包括但不限於

• Strategic planning for the School;

  制定學院的策略發展規劃

• Developing new programs and reshaping curriculum in accordance with local and regional needs;

  按照本地和區域需求發展新課程和優化現有課程

• Effective implementation of the University's strategy and teaching and learning policies in the School;

  有效落實大學和學院的相關教學策略與政策

• Formulating annual student admission plans for the School;

  制定學院年度招生計畫

• Ensuring high quality of teaching and holistic development of students;

  確保學院的教學品質和學生的全人發展

• Supervising staff development for the School;

  監督學院師資發展

• Promoting research, scholarly activities and outreach that will advance the Institute's academic excellence in research and professional education;

  積極推動研究院研究、學術和外展活動以促進研究及專業教育

• Monitoring programs/course assessment to ensure academic excellence and integrity.

  監督課程評核以確保學術卓越

Requirements要求

• Doctoral Degree Holder in education or education related fields earned in a well-known university;

  擁有著名大學教育或教育相關領域的博士學位

• Currently working in a Higher Education Institution at the rank of Professor or Chair Professor;

  目前於高等院校具有正教授或講座教授職稱

• At least 3 years’ experience at the level of Associate/Vice Dean or above including experience in program administration, curriculum development, personnel and strategic planning in Education or related fields;

  具有3年或以上擔任教育或相關領域之副院長或以上職務，並具有課程行政、課程發展、人事及策略規劃的經驗

• Distinguished record of academic leadership, forming and development teams;

  具有傑出學術領導、組織及發展團隊經驗

• Demonstrating vision and capability to build on and expand the School's strengths;

  有能力建立和拓展學院的優勢和特色

• Demonstrating commitment to leading research and uploading academic quality;有能力引領研究發展及提升教學質量

• Excellent coordination, communication and interpersonal skills;

  卓越的人際溝通和統籌協調能力

• International experience is preferred.

  具國際經驗者優先

Remuneration 薪酬福利

The remuneration and appointment rank offered will be competitive and commensurate with the successful applicant's academic qualifications, current position and professional experience. The current local maximum income tax rate in Macao is 12%, however it is effectively around 5% - 7% after various discretionary exemptions.

大學將根據獲聘者的學歷、當前職位和專業經驗提供具競爭力的薪酬福利。目前澳門所得稅率最高為12%，如符合條件可獲得一定程度減免，實際所得稅率約為5%至7%。
